One of the most famous examples of modernist glass design, this classic vase was created more than 50 years ago yet still looks fresh and relevant today. Demonstrating an organic approach to modernism typical of Scandinavian design from the period, the rippling folds of the vase are said to be inspired by Finland's lake-dotted countryside. Fill it with flowers for a traditional use or explore your creativity by using stones, branches, or creating a terrarium planting. Purists may leave it unfilled to best appreciate its iconic sinuous lines.
This special version is made from 100% recycled glass, culled from the waste glass from the Iittala factory in Finland. The mix of colors creates a pale grey glass with subtle variations in both color and the glass surface.
