Ota Door Stop

Aji stone, sourced from the Takamatsu region on the island of Shikoku, Japan, displays a remarkable black and white speckled pattern that becomes more pronounced when the stone is polished. Aji is the traditional stone used in Japanese garden lanterns and monuments because it never loses its crisp edges, nor its luster, which is why it is alternately known as diamond granite. This sculptural doorstop employs a single disc of aji stone, bound by a natural jute rope. The loop handle makes the doorstop easy to move from location to location.
