From its beginning as a napkin sketch in 1964, Arne Jacobsen worked three years utilizing new technology to make the Cylinda Collection with its pure forms and seamless surfaces. An immediate success, the collection was awarded the ID-Prize from the Danish Society of Industrial Design and placed in the permanent collection of many leading museums.
