Maharam was founded in 1902 by Louis Maharam, a Russian immigrant. Through the generations, the company evolved from a source of theatrical textiles for costume and set design to a pioneer of performance-driven textiles for commercial interiors. Today, Maharam is recognized throughout the design industry for their exceptional textiles created in collaboration with some of the world’s most prominent designers.
