The design of these striking bath towels was inspired by the famous Setouchi whirlpools of Japan. The vivid blue and white colors, combined with the weave pattern, creates a subtle optic effect that recalls the deep waters of the inland sea and the whitewater of the whirlpools themselves.

The 100% cotton waffle weave fabric is lightweight, soft to the touch, ultra-absorbent, and very quick to dry. Made in Imabari, a region known for the production of fine towels. Imabari-made towels must pass the "Five Second Test" prior to being certified: when placed in water, the towels must sink within five seconds as a demonstration of their superior absorbency.

Upon first washing, the towels will shrink slightly, and the waffle texture will become more pronounced and effective. Machine wash warm, tumble dry low or hang to dry.
