Sill Planters - Large

Portland-based product designer Peter Valois created his brand known as Mingleware to produce elegant tools for everyday life. His Sill Planters are emblematic of this approach: the narrow ceramic containers are designed to fit neatly on a windowsill - ideal for city dwellers who want a bit of green but are short on space. The planter itself rests on a base that holds any excess water that drains from the soil, keeping your plants happy and protecting finishes at the same time. The planter is glazed in glossy soft white, which contrasts with the matte grey unglazed tray.

Valois studied Product Design at Pratt and has gone on to work for clients such as Nike and Herman Miller before starting his own brand in 2012.
