Adam+Harborth is a Berlin-based design consultancy with a roster of international clients. Such a pedigree might suggest a certain seriousness, but the designers also put high value on the power of fun and exploration. A striking addition to the table or countertop, this highly sculptural fruit bowl consists of 13 different balls of varying diameter. Made in Germany's mythical Black Forest region from solid, sustainably grown white oak, it is then hand-waxed for a natural appearance that highlights the variations in the grain. Beyond its eye-catching design, which features an interesting interplay of positive and negative space, the bowl provides excellent air flow which keeps fruit fresh longer.
