Portland-based designer Peter Valois created his brand known as Mingleware to create elegant tools for everyday life. Handmade in Portland, the Tilt Salt Dish embodies this approach: the partially glazed stoneware form can be tilted onto its end to prevent unwanted bits from falling inside. Valois is a Pratt Institute trained Product Designer and has worked for a wide range of clients including Nike and Herman Miller.
