Yame, Fukoka is known for its production of cedar tree powder, which is supplied to incense makers throughout Japan. Baba Suishaba Watermill, founded in 1918, has spent over a century refining their process of gathering and grinding cedar leaves into powder using their waterwheel. The result is a high-quality cedar powder that forms the basis for this warm, woody incense. Tabunoki, or Japanese Bay Tree leaves add an additional balancing fragrance note.
