Comme des Garçons x Monocle Parfums - 01 Hinoki

The CDG x Monocle collaboration delivers a series of distinctive unisex EDT (eau de toilette) fragrances inspired by memories of experiences touched by the natural world.

01 Hinoki: Inspired by a quiet soak on a cool morning in an open-air bath at the famed 300-year-old Tawaraya Ryokan in Kyoto. The fragrant impressions of wet moss and trees, blended with the sharper notes of the hinoki cedarwood tub and the distant smoke of temple incense.

Notes: Cypress, turpentine, camphor, cedar, thyme, pine, Georgian wood, frankincense, moss and vetiver.

The Comme des Garçons label was started in Tokyo by Rei Kawakubo in 1969. Since the beginning, CDG has been recognized for its playfully avant-garde approach to fashion. This viewpoint extends into their line of fragrances, which demonstrate an equally expressive and experimental spirit.
