In 1953, Christian Flensted made his first mobile to celebrate the christening of his daughter. Today, Flensted Mobiles is a family business spanning three generations. Flensted Mobiles are designed and made in Denmark; carefully hand balanced and assembled by 60 homeworkers spread over the island of Funen. With perfect balance and graceful motion, the mobiles go beyond their role as interior design elements. In our fast-paced world, they remind us to slow down, relax, and enjoy a quiet moment.
