Glass Measuring Jug Set

Despite its delicate appearance, this handy measuring jug set is durable and intended for daily use. Its durability is rooted in the material, German borosilicate glass, which is created by adding the natural element boron to the traditional glass making components of silicate sand, soda, and ground lime. The resulting glass is highly resistant to heat, chemicals, and sudden fluctuations in temperature. Originally developed in the late 1800s for laboratory applications, these attributes make it equally suitable for household use. Each set contains two jugs, 1 liter (with handle) and ½ liter, with easy-to-read markings in both metric and imperial measurements.
