Hasami Porcelain blends simple geometry and modularity to redefine traditional dinnerware. Instead of fixed forms like dinner plates and soup bowls, the collection offers interchangeable plates and bowls that function seamlessly for both serving and eating. Glaze options include matte Black, glossy Grey, and Natural. The Natural finish features subtle texture variations reminiscent of soft sand. Solid wooden trays and porcelain plates also serve as lids or coasters, adding to their versatility.
Handcrafted in Hasami, Nagasaki, this porcelain is made from a proprietary blend of crushed Amakusa stone, a technique perfected over 400 years. Due to the organic nature of the firing process, color and texture variations naturally occur. These distinctive characteristics are not flaws but a testament to Hasami Porcelain’s unique craftsmanship and timeless appeal.
