Scandinavian design meets Tuscan craft traditions in this modern, minimalist planter series by the Danish company Bergs Potter. Created by Danish designer Anne Hoff, the planters combine a rosa terra cotta pot with a glossy saucer for an interesting contrast of texture and color. Raw, unglazed terracotta pots allow the plant’s roots to breathe, while a drainage hole lets excess water escape into the glazed saucer.
Bergs Potter’s story begins in 1942 Copenhagen, where a small ceramics shop grew into a beloved destination by pairing handcrafted pots with fresh flowers. Over generations, the Berg family and their partners expanded this heritage, drawing inspiration from historical Scandinavian designs and collaborating with skilled Tuscan artisans to refine their signature terracotta. What started as a local shop has evolved into an international brand known for timeless craftsmanship, natural materials, and enduring quality—pieces created to bring warmth, character, and a sense of cultivated beauty to homes and gardens around the world.
