Kay Bojesen Monkey - 70th Anniversary Edition - Small

$200.00

Proving that good design doesn't have to mean cheerless functionalism, the wooden toys created by Kay Bojesen have delighted Danish children for decades. Bojesen was trained as a silversmith but is most well-known for his series of rather elegant wooden toys. His cheerful wooden monkey has achieved a certain iconic status and a prominent place on more than one adult's bookshelf or coffee table.

Handmade in Denmark, they are traditionally made from teak and limba wood. This special edition, celebrating the 70th anniversary of this beloved design, is made from a mixture of different woods. No two are exactly alike. Comes packaged in a commemorative wooden crate.
