Add to the many things that the Japanese seem to excel at making: exceptionally soft and beautiful bath towels. In fact, the Imbari region where Kontex is based is famous for towel making and the towels produced there receive a special certification.

Woven gently using low speed weaving machines, Kontex's manufacturing process yields towels that are unusually soft and silky, yet durable enough for everyday use. The Flax Line is especially lightweight and soft, ideal for even the most delicate skin.

Japanese towels are typically thinner, lighter, and slightly smaller than Western towels—we find them to be exceptionally absorbent and quick drying.
