Ercolani's founder in the 1950s, remains wonderfully relevant today and mixes beautifully with their contemporary designs. Specializing in steam bent solid timber (as opposed to more common bent plywood), L. Ercolani employs traditional, time-tested joinery techniques that are superior to mechanical fasteners. The result is furniture which is suitable for even the most demanding commercial applications. Each piece is essentially handmade--right down to the final hand sanding--and then finished with an ultra matte lacquer. Sustainably harvested ash, walnut, elm, beech, and oak are hand chosen for their beauty and specific characteristics.
