Simple and sculptural, the porcelain Egg Vase is hand thrown on the potter's wheel. The soft form is intended to evoke rather than impose a response. The exterior is unglazed; the interior is glazed with a clear gloss. Due to their handmade nature, each piece will exhibit subtle variations in form and minor size variations are characteristic. 

Lilith Rockett is a Portland-based studio potter whose work explores the subtleties of porcelain: translucency, fluidity, and the velvety softness of an unglazed surface. Her minimalist approach highlights the quiet imperfections of the handmade, yet the pieces have an astonishing finish quality. In addition to her gracious pieces designed for the home, Rockett has worked with some of the world's top chefs to create proprietary serving pieces for their restaurants.
