Madoka Incense Holder
$38.00
This unusual cast iron incense holder is hand cast in Yamagata prefecture, Japan by master designer and caster Hisanori Masuda. His studio is dedicated to utilizing traditional craft techniques in the making of products that suit modern living. The name ‘Madoka’ is most appropriate as it has a double meaning in Japanese, meaning both “circle” and “tranquil”. The circular holder features three different openings to accommodate various sizes of incense sticks. The long tray neatly captures ash as the stick burns down.
