Miyashiro Studio - Tatami Candle

These scented candles from Miyashiro Studio tell a story through fragrance. The double walled borosilicate glass vessel holds the candle, which is hand-poured from natural soy wax and enhanced with phthalate-free fragrance oils. The wick is non-crackling wood. Each candle has a 60 hour burn time. Once the candle has been completely burned, the wick can be removed, and the glass vessel repurposed.

Tatami: tatami mats which line the floors of traditional Japanese homes are handcrafted by artisans using igusa rush grass and rice straw. Upon entering a tatami room, you are greeted with a warm, soothing, and tranquil aroma.
