Nova Glass Teapot

This striking glass teapot can move directly from cooktop to table, all due to its material: German borosilicate glass. Originally developed in the late 1800s for industrial and scientific uses, borosilicate glass is made by adding the natural element boron to the traditional glassmaking components of silicate sand, soda, and ground lime. The resulting glass is highly resistant to heat, chemicals, and sudden fluctuations in temperature. The clear glass allows you to judge the brewed strength of the tea and enjoy its pleasing color when serving. Comes equipped with a flat lid and stainless-steel micro mesh strainer. Suitable for both electric and gas ranges.
