Braun BC2X Alarm Clock

In design circles, the iconic 'Braun Style' is typified by crisp geometry and no-nonsense functionality. Dieter Rams, along with Dietrich Lubs, was responsible for establishing Braun as a benchmark design company from the 50s through the 90s. Braun's decision to re-issue its clock collection met with the approval of Lubs, who credits the clocks functionally oriented designs for their continued relevance. The current clocks are based on the original designs with slight modifications that bring them into the 21st century.

This classic analog design is scaled for home or travel use with an emphasis on simple functionality. Features include an easy to read dial layout, luminous tipped hands, and the distinctive yellow second hand that has become a Braun design element.
