Harwek - Tote Bag

Designed and made in the US, these robust, unisex totes are constructed of 6.25 oz. waxed cotton canvas with an undyed cotton canvas lining. Their neutral exterior colors are enlivened with a dash of bright color in the contrasting PVC coated banding. Generously sized for everyday carrying or travel, we especially like that the handles are long enough to sling over your shoulder, but not so long that the bag drags on the ground when carried by the handles.

Taylor Winegar is Eugene, Oregon based soft goods designer who also teaches at the University of Oregon. Rather than any specific source of inspiration, Taylor follows a more emotional process of creation, working until it feels right. Working under his brand Harwek, he produces a tightly edited collection of items, all are made in the workshop with care and hard work. Thus, “Harwek” connotes "hard work."
