Created by London-based ceramic studio SGW Lab, these cylinder vases are slip-cast in porcelain, then finished in an intriguing range of multicolored glazes, both soft and vivid. Founded by artist Yuta Segawa, the mission of SGW Lab is to think about the significance of craftsmanship in the context of William Morris, to believe in the worth of human labor and to explore and practice the beautiful possibilities created by handicrafts. As handmade studio pottery, subtle variations in form and color are intrinsic qualities.
